3DP is an additive process that is identical to traditional 2D printing in almost every familiar way, from using dispensers to spray material and allowing for easy access to replace color cartridges. The most significant innovative difference is that a platform moves up and down along a 3rd axis, building up layers and bathing photopolymer resins in UV light to form solidified shapes (parts).Because traditional 2D printing is so familiar to us, 3D printing has become a popularized term used to include other sequential layering technologies such as SLA, SLS, FDM, and LOM.

1. How do I get a quote?
At Jiaozi Prototype, getting a quote is fast, friendly, and easy.
Anyone of our English speaking International Sales Representatives or Project Managers will be more than happy to assist you. Just send us your design and engineering production specifications, PDF, CMF, and 3D data in file formats: (.iges or stp. for CNC Machining) & ( stl. for 3D Printing), and we will provide you with a quote for designing ideas, prototyping models, or mass production.
2. How long does it take to get a quote?
We can typically provide quotes as quickly as in 1 or 2 hours, however depending on the complexity of production & scope of subcontracting, quotes can sometimes require up to 1 or 2 days to accurately assess.
3. Is there a cost for quotations?
No. We provide quotation at no cost to clients.
4. Is there a cost for consultations?
No.We provide consultations at no cost to clients.
5. Do you sign NDAs?
Non-Disclosure Agreement forms for clients to sign and/or we can sign NDAs provided and sent to us from clients.
6. What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms are as follows:
①Bank confirmation of receipt of advanced payment for 50% of the cost of the project is required before production begins.
②Bank confirmation of receipt of the remaining balance is required before shipment of the products.
③Clients are liable for all shipping costs incurred.
7. Can I purchase services using a PO?
Yes. We do accept official Purchase Orders. In order to best serve our clients in reducing production times, we typically send an invoice.
8. When can I expect delivery?
Clients can typically expect to have your project in hand within 2 to 3 days after production is complete. Depending on the size, weight, and destination of the shipment, there may be possible delays in customs. This rarely occurs but when it does it can take up to 5 days.
9. Can I count on extensive product development support?
Yes, Our International Sales and Project Management teams are available to provide continual communication and ongoing assistance.

14. What tolerances can your processes achieve?
Jiaozi can achieve +/- 0.05 tolerance for most production processes including: 3D Printing, (OBJET, SLA, SLS, FDM), 3 Axis CNC Machining, Spark Erosion Machining, Plastic Injection Molding, Reaction Injection Molding, and Vacuum Casting & Pressure Casting.
15. What are your material selections?
Jiaozi offers a vast diverse selection of materials as opaque, translucent and transparent extruded sheets and liquid resins. Your choice of engineering plastics includes: ABS, PA, PC, PET, HDPE, HDPP, PMMA, POM, and more. Your choice of engineering alloys includes: Aluminum, Magnesium, Zinc, Stainless Steel, and more. We also offer specialty model making materials such as HD Polyurethane Modeling Boards ( Renshape, SikaBlock, & Raku Tool).
